100 Day!

At Liam and Maddie's school, the number 100 is an important concept in math. In order to make the kids really understand how much 100 is, they celebrate the 100th day of school. They had to make a piece of art on posterboard using 100 of something: paper clips, toothpicks, buttons, etc. Then they had a little paper to fill out at school with some open-ended questions about 100. Click below to see Maddie's paper.

Decoding:
kristls = crystals
dolers = dollars
moceas = monkeys
cood = could

But my favorite, of course is:

"If I had $100, I would buy you a mocea (monkey), haven't you wanted a moce (monkey)?"

Special thanks to the Barenaked Ladies.
